Updates!

Today I was on Prairie Public Radio to talk about Fargo Moorhead Zine Fest. You can listen here! Unfortunately some of the details were missed- there is a time, 10am until 5pm, with Rez being screened at 5, Q&A after, and the place in the Unitarian Universalist church basement, 121 9th St S, Fargo, but other than that, I feel very pleased about how it turned out. I’m very happy that the need for a safe space was emphasized, and also the concept of zines as a medium for free expression.

If you have a listen, the zine segment starts at 28:40. Content warning- brief talk of multiple traumas.

Also, I took part in planning the POC Zine Project Race Riot tour stop in Moorhead, and briefly discussed what Fargo-Moorhead Zine Fest (and Fargo-Moorhead Zine Fest Auxiliary Programs)’s role will be.

And tomorrow, as part of PRIDE week, Fargo Moorhead Zine Fest is hosting a zine workshop at the Pride Center! 5pm!
